Delicious weight loss: light lentil soup with carrots
Lentils are not only an excellent food, they can also help you lose weight. This light soup is easy to prepare and super healthy!
This is how it is done:
- Wash the carrots and cut them into large pieces. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, add carrots and lentils and fry a little. Add vegetable broth and milk and bring to a boil. Simmer over low to medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Puree the soup with a hand mixer until the desired consistency is reached. Here you can decide for yourself whether you want to enjoy the soup finely or with a few pieces. Season with salt, pepper and chili flakes to taste.
- Serve soup in four bowls, put a spoonful of yogurt in the middle and sprinkle with fresh parsley. If you like, you can add a toasted slice of your favorite bread for dipping.
advice: Of course, you can also easily prepare this vegetarian dish. Simply replace milk and yogurt with plant-based alternatives, eg B. from oats or soy. If you’re making a larger batch, this soup also freezes well and thaws as needed.
